SEOUL, South Korea, April 23, 2024 MakinaRocks, a leader in enterprise AI, was awarded the Prime Minister’s Citation at the Telecommunication Day ceremony on Monday, April 22. The event took place at the Gwacheon National Science Museum and celebrated significant advancements in science, technology, and information and communications. 

This year’s ceremony themed “Global Science Technology Powerhouse – Achieving Digital Excellence,” was attended by President Yoon Suk Yeol, Minister of Science and ICT Lee Jong-ho, and Chairman of the Korea Communications Commission Kim Hong-il. A total of 157 individuals and organizations received honors, with MakinaRocks standing out for its exceptional contributions. 

The company was recognized for its development and deployment of over 4,000 industry-specific AI models across more than 50 global manufacturing entities. This initiative not only strengthened AI competitiveness but also led to the creation of 58 new jobs over the past two years.
