Andre S. Yoon is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MakinaRocks, a pioneering enterprise AI company known for its advanced AI solutions and its platform, Runway. In this role, Andre directs corporate strategy, product development, and the company’s vision, aiming to transform various industries through the power of machine intelligence. After earning a Ph.D. in Physics from MIT, Andre began his career at Samsung Electronics, where he contributed to high-performance SSDs and intelligent storage systems. He later took on a managerial role at SK Telecom, focusing on machine learning solutions. In 2017, leveraging his expertise in technology and leadership, he co-founded MakinaRocks.

Sangwoo Shim is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and co-founder at MakinaRocks, where he focuses on developing machine learning infrastructure and overseeing AI projects and solutions for manufacturing. Sangwoo has built his career in diverse quantitative fields, including finance, equity trading, and data analysis in global companies. After earning his Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from Harvard University, he joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York as a quantitative analyst, followed by roles as a quantitative portfolio manager at WorldQuant and Millennium Capital. Before joining MakinaRocks, he was part of the Big Data Analysis Group at Samsung Electronics. Sangwoo’s expertise in statistics, optimization, and software engineering aligns with MakinaRocks' mission to innovate manufacturing through artificial intelligence.

Yongsub Lim is the Chief Data Scientist (CDS) and co-founder of MakinaRocks. An experienced data scientist with a passion for data-driven problem solving, Yongsub specializes in data mining and machine learning. He earned his Ph.D. in Data Mining from the KAIST School of Computing and continued his research as a postdoctoral fellow in the Data Mining Lab at Seoul National University. Before co-founding MakinaRocks, Yongsub worked as a data scientist at SK Telecom, where he focused on advanced analytics and machine learning for industrial data.

Minsoo Park is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of MakinaRocks. With experience as a manager at PWC, a partner at RSM Korea, and the VP of Robo3 (now listed on KONEX), Minsoo’s financial expertise spans venture incubation, IPO auditing, and tax services. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of Business Administration at Yonsei University.
